Calling All Athletes! Gear Up for the 2024 Inter-Ministerial Games!

Get ready to spike, serve, and score as the 2024 Inter-Ministerial Games are officially open for registration! Whether you’re a football fanatic, a table tennis ace, or a long tennis champion, this is your chance to showcase your skills and compete for glory (and bragging rights!) with colleagues from across different ministries and departments.

Here’s the lowdown on what you need to know:

  • Games: Football (Men & Women), Long Tennis (Men & Women), Table Tennis (Men & Women), and Chief Directors’ & Directors’ Football Penalty Challenge.
  • Registration: Register your institution for your desired games by Thursday, February 29th, 2024. Don’t miss out!
  • Eligibility: Only eligible Civil Service staff, National Service personnel, and approved non-Civil Service staff affiliated with participating institutions can play. Check the rules for details and required documentation.
  • Player Verification: Be prepared for thorough verification to ensure eligibility. A photo album of all players will be compiled two weeks before the games, and anyone not included will be ineligible to participate.
  • Match Day: Arrive early! Teams must report 30 minutes before opening/closing ceremonies, and players need to be there 1.5 hours before their match time. Latecomers will be disqualified.
  • Officiating: Matches will be officiated by qualified referees and officials from the National Sports Authority.
  • Points System: Earn points for your institution by winning games (3 points each) and participating (1 point each). In the Director’s Challenge, each penalty goal earns you a point, and points from other games will be added to determine the overall champion.

Ready to join the fun? Head over to the official registration page and get your team signed up! We can’t wait to see you on the field (or court)!

P.S. Don’t forget to brush up on the full rules and regulations for details on foreign players, disciplinary measures, and more. Let’s make this a fair and exciting competition for everyone!
