OHCS PARTICIPATED IN 2022 MEN FOOD COOKING COMPETITION
The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection organized Men Cooking Competition to commemorate this year’s World Women’s Day celebration. The theme for this year’s celebration is “Gender Equality Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow”. The objective of the event to improve gender balance in domestic chores in our homes.
The Head of Civil Service, Nana Agyekum Dwamena who was the special Guest of Honour as well as one of the judges for the competition praised the Ministry for this innovation which he said would go a long way to inculcate in men a cooking habit.
Hon. Cecelia Abena Dapaah, the Minister of sanitation who has oversight responsibility over the Gender, Children and Social Protection Ministry who was also one of the judge, commended the men who participated in the competition.
The event saw men from various Ministries cooking different Ghanaian dishes. Participants of the competition were given plagues.
