NANA KWASI AGYEKUM DWAMMENA PARTICIPATES IN THE INUAGURAL CEREMONY OF 50 EMERGING PUBLIC FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME IN NIAROBI – KENYA

The Emerging Public Leaders, and its partners; the Emerging Leaders Foundation and Public Service Commission of Kenya formally inaugurated the first cohort of the Public Service Emerging Leaders Fellowship programme. The Inauguration Ceremony marked the beginning of a journey for the first fifty Fellows in Kenya. 

The ceremony was graced by Global Board Chairs H.E. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and Betsy Williams, along with Head of the Public Service Dr. Joseph K. Kinyua, who delivered remarks on behalf of H.E. President Uhuru Kenyatta, the Global Chairman. They all gave sterling remarks about the Fellowship programme and encouraged the first cohort to strive to achieve higher heights.

Prior to the ceremony, the Head of the Civil Service, Nana Kwasi Agyekum-Dwamena paid courtesy call on the Chair of the Public Service Commission of Kenya, Ambassador Anthony M. Muchiri. Also present were all his commissioners. They both exchanged heartfelt messages and shared experiences from each other’s countries.

The Head of the Civil Service interacted with the Fellows and shared few experiences as a career Civil Service Staff. He encouraged the young ones to resist every temptation and work hard for their clientele and country since the development of their country’s future is in their hands.
