THE SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE AFRICAN ASSOCIATION FOR PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT (AAPAM) CALLS ON THE HEAD OF THE CIVIL SERVICE
Mr. G.K Scott, the Secretary General of the African Association for Public Administration and Management (AAPAM), has expressed his association’s readiness to support the Office of the Head of Civil Service in its quest to promote and ensure continuous renewal and professional development of the Human Resource of the Civil Service.
“I am here to deepen the existing relationship between AAPAM and the Office of the Head of Civil Service and to also foster a healthy relationship between Ghana and other member states of the association.”
Mr. Scott, made these remarks when he paid a courtesy call on the Head of the Civil Service, Nana Agyekum Dwamena at his office in Accra on Monday, 11th January, 2016.
He said his office will continue to support the collaboration between the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and the Office of the Head of Civil Service to help build the capacity of Civil Servants.
Mr. G.K Scott also used the opportunity to offer his condolences to the Head of Civil Service, Nana Agyekum Dwamena, on the death of Dr Robert Nii Djan Dodoo, Chairman of the Civil Service Council, a former Head of the Office of the Head of Civil Service and a former President of AAPAM.
Nana Agyekum Dwamena thanked him for the kind gesture and said the office is hoping to see more of such support and collaborations in the coming years.
