The Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants- Ghana (CIAMC) the body responsible for training and licensing Professional Administrators in the country, as part of the 2015 graduation and induction ceremony bestowed on the Head of Civil Service, Nana Agyekum-Dwamena, an Honorary Fellowship award for his leadership role in steering the affairs of the Civil Service.
The Registrar of the CIAMC, Mr. Samuel Mawusi Asafo, who presented the award said apart from the Capacity Building initiatives his outfit offers to the public and other Private Institutions in the country, CIAMC also recognizes both private and public sector workers who have championed the cause of professionalism in the practice of general administration.
The award with the inscription, “Nana Agyekum- Dwamena, is hereby inducted as an Honorary fellow of the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants-Ghana dated on the 31st day October 2015”, was symbolically handed-over at the OHCS office in Accra, on the 10th November 2015.
The Registrar also used the rare privilege to extol the virtues of Nana Agyekum-Dwamena, and further urged him to keep up the good work he was doing to ensure that the Civil Service lived up to its expectations in order to serve the interest of Ghanaians.
On his part Nana Agyekum- Dwamena, expressed his appreciation for the honour done him by the CIAMC and further pledged to continue working hard to ensure that the Civil Service delivers quality service in order to complement government quest to better the lot of Ghanaians.
Seven officials from other Public Service organisations were also conferred with Honorary Fellowship Awards in recognition of their unwavering commitment to engendering professionalism in their working environments.
Present at the ceremony were the Director-in -charge of Career Management of the OHCS, Mr. Noah Tumfo, and the Public Relations Officer, Mr. Alhassan Abubakar Sadik.
